PreK 4/5 Kickball - Paramus Little League Kickball

Eligibility:

Kickball is for boys and girls born between 10/1/18 to 5/30/20.
Players do not need to live in Paramus. 

The registration fee is $75 and includes a team shirt. 

Play Schedule:

Kickball teams will play on Sunday mornings (subject to change).

A total of about 6 Games will be played on one of the Paramus Little League Fields.

Coaching:
We need at least two coaches per team.  If you are interested in coaching, please email [email protected]
Coaching doesn’t get any easier than this!  Coaching entails emailing schedules to your team and organizing play on the field for the kids.  Coaches need to complete the following to be eligible to coach:

-       Rutgers Safety Course

o   https://youthsports.rutgers.edu/safety-clinic-courses/

-       Little League Background check

o   Send Rutgers safety course certificate to pjblsafetyofficer@gmail.com

o   You will receive a background questionnaire link

Game Rules:

Each player gets a turn at bat.

Each player can take a turn at kicking until they make contact with the ball.  If the player is struggling with kicking a rolling ball, you can put the ball at his/her feet for kicking.

Players will advance one base at a time.

There are no outs, and scores are not officially kept.  The purpose of the game at this level is to teach the fundamentals of an at bat, fielding and base running.
Practice / Games run for 60 - 90 minutes. Teams will practice for 15 - 30 minutes and then play a game. Games typically play 3 innings.
